Women Meet Hair?

So I'm going to the Manhattan Classic in NY, and as you might know, it's a really big meet as well as my first travel meet! Usually, I just do a ponytail with a scrunchie because I have really long thick blonde hair (like in the picture) and otherwise it doesn't stay in. Any suggestions? I'd like it to have a ponytail aspect and not be a bun or a french braid, but otherwise? And if you can will you post a picture?

NYer here. Our gymmies do bun or high ponies with matching scrunchie.

NYer here too! And I love meet hair! Yes, like @Deleted member 18037 said, braids and ponytail is a great looks. What about something like these? Except leave the back in a ponytail instead of a bun. I've done both.

Since you don't want a French braid, what about a spider web into a pony? And if you want to shorten the pony up, you could braid it in several smaller braids.

OP, as long as you use plenty of gel and a water spray bottle, your hair should stay in just fine no matter what you do. My daughter has glossy long thick hair and she uses Got2B gel and hairspray (yellow container). Works like a charm!
