Hi-I have been reading the parent forum for a few weeks and decided to join. My daughter is 10 and is a level 5-she competed old level 5 last competition season. I am not looking forward to an entire meet season listening to the creepy level 5 music, lol! I'd like to join the level 5 group but need to have more posts under my belt, so don't be surprised if you see me posting a lot of comments to hit the magic number!

Hi ~

I joined in August and worked at getting 30 posts to join the lvl 5 group, too!

My daughter is competing new L5 as well. She spent last yr @ old L4 (and then one meet at old L5 to score out).
I am going to listen to the new floor music again and see what you all are talking about. I mentioned creepy clowns to my DD & she just looked @ me funny...

Here's hoping you get an invite to the L5 group before 30 posts! ;-)

My daughter's whole team talks about the scary music-seriosuly, it would be perfect for a circus-themed haunted house, lol! My daughter is working soooooo hard to get her flyaway, she can do it with a spot and can't wait to do it on her own. She also isn't making her rbhs back tuck without a spot. I tell her one thing at a time-not to stress. The one thing I hate about gymnastics is the one thing that makes them such good gymnasts-she puts so much pressure on herself!

LL has been working on that straight leg flyaway all summer! last night she & her coach came off the floor @ pick up saying she connected bar routine - no spot - for the 1st time.

yah, it's sweet having self motivated kids. only downside is what you mention - making sure they don't stress out about things. so far LL hasn't gone there, but her teen sister with same drive has.
