So I’ve had my front tuck on tramp for many months at this point, but a couple of weeks ago over rotation became a serious problem. I nearly got injured, but even though I didn’t it set a bit of a mental block, which is disappointing on such a simple skill. I really don’t know how to over rotate without under rotating and it’s getting really frustrating. Any tips?

I tend to over over rotate if I whip my arms down too fast. I also find I over rotate if I go to quickly into the somersault rather than bringing it up straight first before going into the move. I found as mine actually lifted higher and improved on the trampoline I started to over rotate as I needed to retrain my brain when to untuck and land the move. I hope this helps.

If you find you keep flying forward on the trampoline you can either put a mat in front of you on the trampoline or get your coach to push a mat in for safety as you do the move.
