So happy for Jorge Vega of Guatemala -- I think he's only just turned 20 and he's coming home with the gold on floor. What a lovely routine he did! Good to see Donnell get some redemption too. He looked really happy after that routine.

Women's vault is next. I don't think I can watch.

And . . . I've just had my favorite moment of the entire games. They had a shot of veteran Daniele Hypolito (Brazil) holding Paula Mejias's (Puerto Rico) hands and talking to her intently after both had competed -- Mejias had a truly awful outing. Everything that I love about gym, gymnasts, and gymnastics right there.

I just loved Jorge's floor and his win. It was a very genuine win.

I missed the first half of the vault. Hope to see a replay later.

He is a beautiful gymnast! I hadn't ever seen him before.

I really am not convinced that Pena's feet hit first.
