Start doing lots of them against a wall.

Other drills would be straddle stand press to straddle-L. Straddle-L press to Straddle-stand.

Hanging Leg lifts in straddle to inverted straddle.

One of the keys is a really strong Handstand good core strength. Active hip flexibility (straddle-L) makes this skill much easier.
 
Stand in a straddle. A straddle-L is called a straddle lever. Perhaps you know it by that name. Press from one to the other or vice versa.
