So are we thinking that said person knew all along that all this was going on and turned a blind eye to it?! I assume he could also be in big trouble for this? Mind blown....

Last I saw him on here, he got extremely defensive about the Nassar issue and disappeared. I actually started saying “yikes” in real life after reading it on this board.

If I were a USAG lawyer, I'd not have been happy with his remaining a member of this community and posting here in the ways that he was.

His posts linked on Twitter and on his FB page (at least a few of which have been deleted) are highly disturbing and hurtful. They reflect the USAG leadership's bunker mentality and eagerness to slough off all responsibility for Nassar and his access to victims. The story they are telling themselves does have a few worthwhile points, however, if you take them as above, beyond, and in addition to USAG's culpability. It's clearly true that if MSU had not ignored several early complaints, Nassar would have been stopped a long time ago, well over a decade ago. And I also have a lot of questions about the FBI and what they were doing -- given the information they had on Nassar unrelated to child porn, why would anyone think that arresting him would have tipped off the people they were trying to catch through their Tor/Playpen sting operation? Ultimately though, there's all too much blame to go around and USAG deserves a good helping of it.

It is really awful, he was trusted here and clearly continues to victim blame. No matter what he thinks of USAG's culpability, that alone makes me feel pretty angry. He has not been on the board this year at all. I think he knows this is not the place for him. We would not tolerate that kind of reasoning, and his last few posts here were clearly verging on the unacceptable.

Glad you have worked out the connection, the clues in that thread were clear. Years ago I told him I would not out him, I kept my word.

@bogwoppit that post also had a clue as to who a mysterious CB member was that has been absent for awhile. I'm sorry I ever listened to his advice.

I trusted that anonymous former member to assist with finding a gym for my daughter when we moved to his region. He was an "expert" after all who had a wealth of knowledge and we were all lucky he graced us with his presence.

He chose a gym with owners who were great friends with Nassar and sent all injured athletes to him. They broke my kid, physically, mentally, emotionally. I am glad others are finally seeing his true character and this board is better off without him and his vile opinions. That he's still affiliated with USA Gym and allowed to own a gym is beyond shocking... But hey, birds of a feather right?

Actually, he also recommended the verbally abusive gym we left. He didn't recommend it to me, and wasn't the reason we were there, but when I first joined Chalkbucket I searched the forums for our gym and found that he recommended the gym we were going to and said the head coaches/owners were great, and at the time I thought it was fantastic that a well respected member of this community spoke so highly of those coaches. Birds of a feather, indeed.

We will not ban him here, unless he breaks our rules. That has not happened yet, and I doubt we will see him return.
