In NCAA's a few years ago there was a guy from the Naval Academy that used to compete a vault we called the Bender. Basically, from a light run he would do a hecht vault with an added flip...yes thats right a hecht back flip vault. It was worth a 10.0, but everytime I saw him compete it he always landed hands and knees, or putting his hands down....Anyone ever had kids work it? I played around with it into the foam and there is definately a reason it was a 10.0...its not in the code though??? of course NCAA's play by different rules usually....

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
