Um, what year were vocals allowed for floor music?

im watching the 2011 covergirl classic and im hearing lots of vocals

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but vocals are allowed now, lyrics still aren't.

yes. subtle vocals/chants, animal sounds, etc; no lyrics.

Levels 1 - 6 have their own compulsory music... Levels 7 - 10.... just no lyrics (words)

sorry i can't remember what year they eased up on the music rules. i'm sure it was in the 2000's.

good to know, because my teammate wants this music with this one part that is a vocal but my coach wont let her use it. because she said she will get a deduction.
