My daughter is currently on team at her gym, but what level would she be at your’s?
Vault: Half on with tramp board (she does it 50% of the time but sometimes she chicken’s out) front handspring with tramp board. She doesn’t have anything on the table with a beat board yet.

Bars: Kip (Can do it most of the time, around 75% of the time) Long hang Kip(inconsistent) Double back hip circle, front hip circle, level 4 high bar dismount, soul circles on straps and clear hip with straps.

Beam: Handstand (almost vertical), Cartwheel (inconsistent) Backwalkover on low beam with panel mats, Split jump, full turn (inconsistent), side handstand dismount to 3/4, roundoff dismount.

Floor: Roundoff Back handspring (inconsistent), Front hand spring, Back extension roll (bad form), Back handspring, Left leg splits.

We would probably place her in Xcel Gold ... but only because we don't do Silver.
We would also work with her strengths and construct routines that have as close to a 10.0 SV on each event as possible.
We have some girls with 9.0-9.5 SV on some events that still place well because what they do is beautiful and what they can't do isn't in the routines.

Thanks for the feedback! Why don’t you do silver though?

Xcel Silver. Her skills are all over the place across different events, so I don't think DP would be a good fit. If she could get the full turn and cartwheel on beam, ROBH and FT on floor, vault with a springboard, and squat on for bars (you didn't say if she had it so I'm assuming she doesn't), then she could do Gold.

She has her squat on, full turn on floor, and she has a front tuck, but I forgot to mention them.

Probably silver, but the inconsistency and the strange progressions would be a concern for me.

Just one quick tip - the handstand not being vertical is probably contributing to her cartwheel being inconsistent.
Thanks for the tip, she has a weird problem with consistency. Some days she can do all her skills and some days she can’t. Depends on how nervous she is.

It sounds like she would benefit from more work on aerial awareness and building confidence in general.

Trampoline basics, running fast at a fixed (soft) object, leaning how to fall - kids who don't feel comfortable falling will rarely hit vertical and as others mentioned- this transfers to the cartwheel and all beam acro skills.

Level 3 or xcel silver

Our HC didn't like it from the beginning. Now that L3 and Silver have the same vault set-up , some of us thought there might be a chance, but all the girls that switch to Xcel and middle school age (or stuck at level 3 for more than 2 seasons), and the middle school gymnastics team competes Xcel Platinum rules with high school bonus (but Special Requirements are only worth 0.2 instead of 0.5). In addition to our team, HC coaches the middle school team in August - October and the high school team in December - March. Because the girls are often planning to compete for their school in addition to our team, they go to Gold. The hope is that they will get the skills in time ... but in the meantime, they get competition experience with clean skills and without having to do skills that aren't ready ... that might cause anxiety ... that may result in injury or mental blocks.

When my YG was 10, she competed Xcel Gold. She had done 3 seasons at Old L4/L3, and was still not ready for a L4 with a kip on bars and a "grapevine" on beam. Lol, the grapevine scared her more than the cartwheel she still didn't have.
That first season of Gold, she had a 9.0 SV on beam and floor music that I should have cut 7 more seconds off. She has ADHD, and she would finish her routine requirements in 30 seconds ... but the music was 37 seconds long, so she would "whatever her little heart wanted" in those last 7 seconds ... so many deductions in her improv ... her high score on floor that season was 8.25 with a 10.0 SV. Funny enough, that was the same high score as on beam, but beam had no acro and no full turn.
