Is there two types of chalk? One being a more soft, crumbling chalk and one a more firm block. We have had gymnasts complaining that the chalk is 'soft' and it is harder to grip the bar. We buy all the chalk from the same supplier and often will be a hard and soft block in the same bulk purchase.
I am after some conditioning/body shaping activities for very beginner gymnasts aged 5-7. We have 30 minutes for this and around 20 gymnasts. We usually split so 10 do a circuit and 10 do shapes all together.
Curious to what hand placement everyone learns in a standing back tuck. Do you put hands under knees (knee pits), on shins/knees or not grab anything? Is this the same as all your other skills?
