    Hi from a coach!

Hi, I'm new to ChalkBucket, but not gymnastics. I used to compete several years ago, and now I coach classes and Level 4. It's great to have a place, where gymnasts coaches and parents can feel at home.:o

    Coaches Coach Burnout

I'm not sure if I'm burnt out or just disillusioned. Over the last 15 years I have coached in 3 separate gyms, small, medium and large. I coach boys gymnastics and love the coaching aspect of the job. I don't mind doing the administrative side of coaching either. I have donated 100's of...

Coaches Coach needs advice about Grips!

I’m coaching a small team at a new gym, just a part-time job… The gym had a team that I helped with in past years, then the owner/coach closed and moved away. It re-opened a year later under new ownership, and yours-truly has somehow found herself as the head coach of the “new” team! It’s...

    Parents Coach favoring

Hi, I was just wondering if any of your DDs are favored by the coaches. Or not and get really ticked off? Just out of curiosity. My girls don't have the nicest coach around but sometimes favor the better ones or the older ones. Confused!
