Right now I am 13 years old and I am training level 8. My ultimate goal in gymnastics is to get a gymnastics scholorship to a D1 school. Is that realistic? My coach has said something about possible only doing 1 year of level 8, but I would have A LOT of skills to get.. So I'm probably looking...
I have to make a choice soon on whether or not i would like to persue college gymnastics. I am a sophmore and I am a level 8 and will most likely compete level 8 as a junior, so there fore my age is a factor. I am also currently at a gym without a pitt and no guy coaches to spot big skills...

When I watch college gymnastics, a gymnast had tape on her back. Some of it is covered by her leotard and some of it is seen on her back. Does anyone know what it's for?? I was just curious.
I talked to my coach today due his lack of coaching and somehow he brought up that i should try AGA a different gymnastics competition affiliate then USAG which is the norm. I have done AGA in the past and enjoyed it but as a level 7 my season would fall at the same point as the AGA meets.

Hi! My daughter is Level 8 trying to move up t0;) level 9 and will be a high school junior next semester. She wants to continue doing gymnastics through college. I understand Division I schools look for level 10 or elite gymnasts. What about division 2 or division 3 schools? What level do they...

Just wondering if any of your daughters (or you gymnasts posting here) are hoping to compete in college? Are you looking for a scholarship? Just curious what people want to do!
Does anyone know if there are any colleges in MO or KS that have a gymnastics program? I was wondering about my gymnastics future. Thank you in advance!

I can't believe I hadn't joined earlier. This place looks great. My name is Dave. I've always loved gymnastics, since early on, though I lost track of the sport a few years ago, but picked it up again and now follow gymnastics at the collegiate level. I was never a gymnast myself, but I think...
Anyone know where I might find the listings for when college gymnastics might be on tv? So far we have caught it a few times by accident. I have tried wading thru all the listings on dish network but it takes a long time. I would do it online but my connection is so slow.
