Alright, its time to order grips again. I have no idea which grip brand to use though. Right now, I have reisport grips and I'm not really liking them (for me they don't last very long- I've had two pairs in the last year) I wanted to try something different. Any recommendations?
Hi, my little sister got these new zebra print grips from Ginnasta. She says that they are great but she's afraid that others might think that they are too childish for a 13 yo. What do you think?
Just curious when most people got grips. I don't have them or want them yet, but I think it's interesting to see if there is a trend or not. If you don't have them, voting for other works.
I really need some good affordable grips! Where did you get yours and how long did it take to break them in? Also, can you leave a review for "palm grips" instead of "dowel grips"? Which one do you think is better! Thanks!
Two things..
1. how do you adjust the size of the finger holes (the coach said sand paper)?
2. where do the finger holes need to stop? I couldn't find anything online. HELP!
Is there an 'appropriate' or average time for a gymnast to get their first set of grips?
DDs gym requires the girls to be a Level 5 OR a second year Level 4. I thought this was pretty standard, but I'm seeing a lot of posts about younger gymnasts getting them.
Is there are a difference between...
I have ripped my hands quite a few times now on bars and considering making some grips from tape as I currently have to stop bars as soon as I rip. However, I have no idea what type of tape to use. I would really appreciate suggestions. Thanks :)
Coach gave 7 yo dd grips tonight. She came out of practice with the proudest grin on her face. First one on her team to earn them. I am very proud of her :)
My current high bar grips are getting too small and I don't feel very safe with them so I'm getting some new grips. I'm looking for something with double buckles, break in quick, and don't stretch very much. I also have HUGE hands (8-8 1/2 inches from wrist to tip of middle finger)! Any...
I don't know which pair of grips I should get to replace the ones I have now. I don't want buckles, I was thinking of getting Reisport grips. I don't know which ones are awesome and which ones aren't worth it. Any opinions...?
thank you! :)
DD is 7 going to level 4 and just got her first pair of grips yesterday. She measured exactly in between sizes (biggest size for an XS and smallest for a S). so I got the smaller size thinking they would stretch some. In looking at them I did think they looked a little small, she couldn't grip...
Hello, my grips arrived today but i'm not sure if they fit, I'm afraid that if i'm going to wear them for a couple weeks that they will stretch and be too big because that happend to my other grips, they look like this right now (haven't used them yet) are they the right size?
I need help in deciding what type of grips to use for high bar. I'm 16 and I'm in highschool gymnastics. I've already decided that I'm going to most likely buy buckled grips, but I've narrowed my choices down to the US glove and reichel sport. However, I don't know the difference between the...
My DD went into gym this afternoon bare handed, and walked out tonight with grips in her hand. At no point had grips been discussed, and girls at the gym don't typically get them for xcel bronze (or even silver). HC told DD that the cost (no idea how much) would just be added to our account. Is...
