Are we trying to make certain people feel unwelcome?

This is from the rules:

1. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.

I have several posts that blatantly break this rule (some by mods) and so my question is: Are the rules only for some? You bash triptwister for being verbose and say he is breaking the rules. But is it OK to be mean and personally attack him?

This is just the most recent situation, but I see it and i'm really curious. Seems if its wrong, its wrong for all period and should not be tolerated.

Triptwister had been banned no less than 9 times from the CB, and he insists on coming back every time. HE was originally banned for breaking rules after being warned.

There are no rules for dealing with him. He has blatantly decided to ignore what we asked of him, so he cannot, and does not, ask for special treatment. There are no rules to cover his situation.

You may feel sorry for him, and that is fine, but you cannot expect us to treat him the same as all our other members when he chooses to ignore his bans.

I don't think anyone here is intentionally trying to "unwelcome" anyone. I think we have a few very passionate parents/coaches/gymnasts that may hit the wall at times but you know what it's just a message board and honestly I think the board mods (who are volunteers too) do the best they can.

I taught preschool for over 20 years and one of the things we taught the kids was a Preschool Pledge. I think we can all take a lesson from that pledge and at least act the way we teach and want our preschoolers to act.

So everyone its time to stand up and take the pledge and we can have warm chocolate chip cookies and milk after and then head off to nap time.

They're the same person; that's what bog meant when we said he's been banned 9 times.
