I have a gymnast that struggles mightily with bars. She's more solid than my other athletes who have a leaner body type and just struggles so much with bar conditioning. Even her pullover is very labored. We do chin ups and pull ups but even then she can't pull herself all the way up. Is there anything more basic than that that we can use to help improve her strength? She's great on three events.

Double up on it, How is her glide , leg lift and casting strength? Can she hold a candlestick ? Or is she weak everywhere?

Rope with feet and seated rope pullups and/or body rows. If her leglift in the kip is weak, L work, Hanging leglifts with an angled board and lower bar. Hollow hold work.

If upper body pushing is weak, pushups and dips. PB walks, swings

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
