What is the timing for floor for the optional Levels

L6, L7, L8

Dd is level 7. Hers is 1:15 (had same-ish routine for level 6). I think level 8 is around 1:30.

I know the level 6 requirement is shorter than the level 7... I know this only because I had to fork out an extra $50 for the shorter version! Lol

Dd's lvl 6 is about 1:08 I think...

Based on my vast amounts of knowledge as a floor timer at meets I believe the max for 6 is 1:15 and the others are 1:30...if my memory is correct which can be debatable. I do remember there were some that came real close to the max allowed and others that were a good 30 seconds less...

DDs L7 routine is like 1:12. One of her teammates' routine is right at a minute, 58sec or something.... Very clean and usually scores high.

My DDs floor is exactly a minute for L7. Her coaches want them on and off as quickly as possible too for the same reason as Lisbeth.

Xcel Gold has a 1:00 time limit and last year, YG had a 37 sec floor routine (and we almost cut it shorter because those last 7 seconds killed her score).

So at 1 min 10 secs she should be good for 6 & 7, maybe even 8 , cool.

Is there a minimum time for Level 7? Just heard my dd's music is getting cut down. She has been doing 3 tumbling lines, but only needs 2, so it is getting shortened.

Seriously, in 6 years of judging, I think the only time I have seen too short of a routine was when the gymnast got injured part way through and didn't finish.
