Women Handstand Question for the Judges

For the judges out there, my friend and I are coming up with unique mounts for next season and I came up with a pretty cool mount. I'll spare you all the details but basically, I stand up on one leg and go through an arabesque into a handstand.

If I do a handstand out of that (not out of a lunge), would it still count towards my acro? (I'll be a gold and I want my acro to be a handstand and a back walkover)

I assume you are talking beam. Yes, any handstand that shows hips balanced over hands counts as an "A" skill and the "vertical" requirement on beam. Any entry or exit.

Would a side handstand count, if it’s not your dismount?

I think when I was reading the code it said it would but I’m not entirely sure how you’d get out of that. Sounds it does though.

Great, thanks! I was thinking about just stepping back down onto the beam with my legs in between my hands.

Would a side handstand count, if it’s not your dismount?

Yes. The most common entry is a "cartwheel" into the side handstand, and then either step down one foot and then the other, or press down.
