Did anyone else notice during all the gymnastics competitions that it listed various gymnasts ages under 16?? I was under the impression that you had to be 16 to compete. More than a few times it listed medal winners from all countries as 14 and 15. I was watching the NBC HD broadcast from Oklahoma. Anyone shed light on this one? I'm surprsed no one has brought this up....

I didn't see any 14 year old gymnasts but 15 is okay so long as they will turn 16 during 2008. That means that a 15-year-old with a December 31st birthday is age-eligible to compete.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
