So today we did a new conditioning circuit with levels 6-10 & Xcel Platinum. (I'm xcel if anyone is wondering) It was very tiring, but a very creative idea that anyone can take and put their own spin on. You will need a deck of cards.

So each suit represents a move.

Hearts: Burpees w/ push-up making sure your chin touches the ground

Spades: Bounce straddle handstands

Diamonds: v-ups w/ arms staying by your ears the whole time

Clubs: Tuck jumps

So you go through the cards and do whatever number of whatever suit. For example: pull an eight of hearts everyone does eight burpees. Queens are 11, Kings are 12, and Aces are 13. And then you just go through the entire deck!

This wasn't the hardest conditioning, but it was very very tiring. Since today was our first time doing the circuit, we got a 30 second water break halfway through. And all the royals represented 10 for today. But it's definitely a workout! I hope this inspires some coaches out there or even something someone can do at home for an extra workout.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
