We are preparing for a move to NJ from VA and are interested in finding a quality competitive USAG program for our daughter. She will be on track to enter Lvl 6 in the upcoming season. We would prefer programs with experience in college recruiting.

We’ve done the online research ( checking scores) but we’re wondering if anyone can recommend a competitive program with a positive coaching environment (or any to avoid)? We want to make the right choice that helps her continue to grow toward her goals. We would be looking in the central to southern part of the state.

North Stars Gymnastics Academy produced lots of elites, NCAA, has lot of level 10s, - they have a homeschool program too. I would avoid MG elite/Gymnastics University in Monmouth. https://www.northstarsgymnastics.com/ - met head coach of North Stars once, seemed super nice.

forgot to mention Head over Heels, think they have some high levels too, some NCAA.. maybe look into that, have lots of locations

For Central to Southern ----

Will-Moor Gymnastics in Mt Laurel - not many Elite team right now but send a number to college.
Envision Gymnastics in Eastampton NJ (Head coach also owns TNT Elite in Maple Shade NJ) - he has sent a number of girls to college
Atlantic Coast has had some good gymnasts in the past
Head over Heels

It all really depends on where you will live. NJ is deceptively "large" when it comes to commuting. Kinda like NoVA - I wouldn't send someone to a gym in Herdon if they live in Springfield. In NJ I wouldn't recommend Head over Heels if you are moving to West Deptford NJ. The commute could be 1.5-2hrs at rush hour.
