My oldest dd's competition is tomorrow, then she has 6 weeks before the NDP grades. I am not worried about the competition tomorrow, the only thing I am worried about if one of us gets sick (the dreaded tummy bug was begining to the rounds at school), I am crazy or do others worry about things like that?

Good luck to your dd tomorrow.

I was just reading @Tiny Dancer 's other post and thinking the same.

Looks like we are not doing 8 as nothing has been said to P&F, so we shall choose which regional one to do nearer the date as our county holds them later in the year. (Typically behind everyone else). We did 12 at Christmas so maybe 10 this year.

Anyone else - entries should be in soon so what are you guys doing ?

Now I have seen the entries for AF north and south I can't wait to see the results in a couple of weeks. From the beginning of march I think there are competitions every week in different regions, followed by the Scottish, The English and the British . Then we have national finals for compulsory and national grades and Euros must slot in there somewhere before the summer levels competitions like the Wiltshire and Manchester Open. Lots to look forwards to! Super excited now!!

There has been no mention yet as to what competitions my daughter will participate in this year. We tend to only know there is one on the horizon when they are scrutinised more closely than usual and dance work is given more priority. They are only ever small, local comps anyway but they love to do them.

I've got spectator tickets for my daughter and I for the English Champs next month. There are girls in the seniors from our gym competing and we're also watching the juniors, as my daughter is a bit obsessed with Catherine Lyons and Georgia-Mae Fenton. The venue isn't far away from us and my girl has never been to watch a big comp so we are looking forward to it. She would like to watch the British as well but I'm not sure I can swing that with work.
