From memory I think it is basically a winning seat draw. All seats have a number and they narrow it down by block, row etc till one person is remaining and they are at winner.
I can't remember if it was miss alpha when they do the handstand comp? They pick adults who then have to nominate a gymnast of their choice to represent them in a handstand comp. That was fun to watch but we then went to another comp where they did the same thing - picked adults for the handstand competition. My husband got picked and feeling confident about how it all worked we were discussing whether dd would want to be picked. However, little did we know this competition was different and he actually had to do the handstand - it was soooo funny - if not a little humiliating for dd!
