Well, now we know why she was fired.

Rhonda Faehn, who was the head of the USA Gymnastics women's programuntil last month. According to her prepared testimony, she was abruptly fired after she told her bosses she had been asked to testify and could be subpoenaed

Rhonda was very transparent. The contrast makes Penny seem even more cowardly.

Penny’s behavior is unsurprising, but still disappointing. Same for Simon. Both are completely void of grace and neither seem to have an ounce of humility.

For his sake he needs to plead the 5th. He's likely going to jail, but he holds many of the answers. If he never speaks he can probably keep himself out of jail or at least greatly reduce his time spent in jail.

Rhonda's testimony was compelling, but she made mistakes by trusting Penny and not speaking with authorities personally. Rhonda will work in the gymnastics community again (if she desires). Steve Penny will likely never work again anywhere. Who would hire him to do anything?
