I saw on the website for the Brestyans Vegas meet that there will be event finals for Levels 7-10. How does that work? Pretty sure my daughter competed at this meet a few years ago and don’t recall event finals. Is this a new thing?

Thank you to all who have asked and sent well wishes! It wasn't a great meet overall, but nothing tragic, nothing below 8 and AA above 34, so it could have been worse. But she did place 3rd of 44 (yes FORTY FOUR kids in the age group...) so she made event finals for bars! She was disappointed...

Are these being televised? I have been searching for any info, but cannot find it!

I am trying to book flights for Worlds. How long do you think event finals and closing ceremony will be on the Sunday? The event starts at 1:30.

Did anyone go this year? Also was wondering what happened to Jaimee Smith and Akeilah Ashman-Howe. 2 of the top girls in the level 2 age group and neither competed. Anyone know if they are injured?

Ok, so I knew the men did harder vaults than the women, but I didn't realize they were INSANE! Wow. The vaults they are doing are nuts. handspring triple front?! full twisting double tsuk? So cool to watch! I'm glad no one got hurt.
