Iowa.
I've heard in figure skating that Iowa and the surrounding states are the 2nd most competetive area - better skaters, tougher judges, etc. 1st most competetive is southern California. Is it regional in gymnastics, too?
I'm from New York State. I could probably walk to Connecticut (if I was really motivated) because it is so close.
In a year I'll be calling the District of Columbia home, but that is not a state, its more like a federal territory. Which means they don't have congressmen or Sentators but they still pay taxes and fight in wars. Somehow that doesn't seem fair to me but I guess Thomas Jefferson and Madison and all of them had their reasons.
