Okay if any of you have been incharge of ordering metals and awards for meets at your gym... who did you use?
Even if you didn't do the ordering, out of all the medals your daughter has won, which are her favorites? Can you attach a picture? Just trying to get ideas.
I know that we have quite a few NJ gymnasts here. Since meet season is starting for Level 4, 6 & 7, just curious what meets your girls were going to.
My dd is a Level 7 I know so far as Invitationals are concerned that she is going to the Fall Fling at Will-Moor and Pumpkin Cup. She will...

Just curious if there are any other parents here that are Meet Directors? It really isn't just directed to parents, but if there is anyone else on this forum that is a Meet Director?
I just got my certification this past Spring. I just ran a small meet at our gym this past weekend (to be...
(I swear I already posted this thread, but I can't seem to find it)
We're getting ready for states, which means we're doing nothing but routines, routines, routines. My girls are complaining, because they're bored with these routines and want to work new skills.
What it comes down to is that...
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what would be the best meal for my daughter (breakfast) on a meet day. She would typically be rising at 6:30 am and beginning warmups at 8:00 to compete at 8:30. She is not generally a picky eater, so any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...
We have been to 2 meets so far. Gymbabi decided to compete the first two meets as a level 7 and did real well. Next week will be as a level 8. Hope she qualifies for state. Cross your fingers for us!
Gymbabi went to another high school meet today. She won every event and the all around. I was a little fried when the same judge that gave her a 9.0 3 weeks ago and an 8.3 last week for a routine that was missing her giants, gave her a 8.0 for a pretty good bar routine with giants. But she just...
Just wondering when your girls start competing?
My daughters have their first meet on September 9-10.
I can't wait to see how they are doing with thier routines.
My 10 year old is doing level 6 and my 7 year old is doing level 5 this Fall.
I can't wait!! Anyone else going to...
Gymbabi has now been to 3 meets. She hasn't done as well (score wise) at the last 2 as she did at the first one. Our coach (who is a judge herself) asked the judges what they thought she could do to get her scores higher for rest of the season. They all pretty much said she needs to take all the...
Gymbabi had her first meet of the season last weekend, The Santa Cruz surf classic. It was a lot of fun. She did really well too. Had a 34.225 AA which is her highest ever. She wound up in 7th place so there were some really strong gyms there. She had a few little issues that are not normal for...
