I know it's over, but can someone tell me the requirements for a Region 8 L10 to make it to nationals?
Was it a minimum score, or percentage, type of requirement?
Thanks in advance!
We are in Pennsylvania. Our competitive season runs October through April (maybe a little later for states and regionals). I know the other states in our region run their season differently. What do some other states in region 7 do?
By board I meant to the Message Board not the Trustee Board. However I am rather trustworthy.
This seems to be a nice little place to get some good information from parents with children in gymnastics. My daughter is just beginning her team based gymnastics competitive program. We are in...
Anyone know what the region 3 qualifying score for level 3 state meet is? I can't find anything. I know it differs. What is your region and your qualifying score requirements?
I'm here, and I've already run into a couple people. If enough of us are here, perhaps we could get together for a CB lunch meetup tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'm the guy with poofy curly shoulder-length blond hair and a 2012 Olympic Trials shirt; if you'd like to say hi, feel free.
For all of you who want to join the Region 1 gymnastics thread:

Have a minimum of 30 posts!
Have you been sitting around this summer telling yourself -
"Self. I wish we had a forum on the internet just to talk to other parents involved in Region 8 Gymnastics. I also wish I had a cookie."
Well today is your lucky day (you know, except for that whole talking to yourself thing.)...
If you live in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Alaska or Hawaii, come join us. You must have posted 30 times to join. Send me a message or post here and I will send an invite!
A private social group for those of us involved in Region 8 gymnastics has been created. You are only required to have 30 posts to join.
So come join us in Region 8!
It was mentioned in another thread (in a galaxy far, far away) about how there are no social groups based on area. So I ask..
Would people be interested in a Private Social Group for their particular Region? I'm Region 8, so I would be willing to start that one. But be warned - there would...
The Idaho State website states that Region 2 is toying with the idea of having an actually L7 regional next year instead of an invitational. Does anyone out there know if this is going to happen or at least the time frame for letting the states know this is happening?
Just wondering - Do they come up with an overall Region Winner for JO Nationals? I see that Region 5 won 4 of the 8 age groups, Region 7 won 3, and Region 1 won 1, but I didn't see an overall winner. It also looks like R5 is in great shape for the future as they won 4 of the 5 youngest age groups.
Hi,
Does anyone know who the photographer was at Level 8 Regionals for Region 7? My husband's pictures were mediocre, at best. lol. Would love some good shots to add to a photo album.
I've done an on-line search and nothing comes up.
Thanks in advance!!!
Did anyone pick up a black gym bag by chance after the regional meet last night? They said a gymnast claimed it, but it wasn't us who claimed. Hoping to find. :)
Thanks!
:rolleyes:Why does the Regional registration close before the State meet is held? Some athletes would like to wait and see if they qualify for nationals at the state level before spending extra money to go to regionals. I wonder how many people will be paying for regionals jus in case and then...
