Tulis Cheetahs aren't designed for bar protection, they are for severs and heel issue as they have a built in heel cup.

Yes. As I used to wear cheetahs to help stop reoccurring heel spurs and to help my feet stay in 'shape' due to my other hip/knee problems that were causing my feet to go flat.

I also asked if there were any other brands of heel protectors for bars that everyone seemed to like? Thanks! :)

Some athletes use inexpensive knee pads (worn backwards to cover the heel and achilles area--these pads may be used by volleyball players, wrestlers, etc.) to protect their heels while learning release skills if padding the bar isn't enough. I suppose that they don't have to look cool.

A girl at my gym has these white cloth things, that have a GIANT piece of foam in the heel part. I honestly don't know what brand they are though...
