All Chalked Up

I have recently been working really hard on my kip cast to handstand. My kip-casts to vertical are clean and I have no trouble with them, so I've been trying to cast to handstand.

I'm not able to get my toes far enough up with good form! It drives me nuts.

If anyone has any drills or hints for these please tell me! Thanks!

a drill i used to do when learning this was to put a big mat under a single rail low bar, and practice with your shoulders over the whole just casting and falling to your back onto the mat, sort of like a mini front hip circle missing hips. then, with the help of a coach i would do sets of 5 kip handstands in a row, to build muscle, and in no time i was doing it by myself.

a block below the level of the low bar. jump to support>cast>down to the block>jump to support>cast>down to the block, etc; do sets of 3 in a row focusing on each cast getting higher without form breaks and be sure you only punch the block ONCE. no double bouncing/jumping.
