Level 5 Beam Mount

My dd is a first year level 5, and is half-way through her season. She really struggles with the mount on beam, and I am hoping for some advice or excercises she can do at home to help.

From what I can see, after her v-sit, she puts her left heel down on the beam to stand up. It makes more sense to me if she would stand from her left foot pad. But this leaves her knee at too sharp an angle to stand.

Any advice?

the only advice i can think of is she needs to squeeze her butt and stomach tighter. she also might try seperating her legs some more to have more of a balance. at home she can do everything she would on the beam except the leg swing. have her try these thing and let me know if it helps or if i can help anymore.
