So after a year of working towards her goal of competing Level 7, DD attended her first meet of the year, and did awesome!!!! No shoulder popping out of joint, no falls, and a little girl who is very proud of herself!

Very nice!! I loved her full turn on beam. I had never seen anyone do that full turn.

Thanks everyone. @Alex's Mom..... for whatever reason she finds this full turn far easier - one of our national girls does a double this way. When she was having troubles with the reg. full turn, she saw our national girl do it, tried it, and got it instantly. I saw a couple girls compete it at our Provincial Championships last weekend, but it's definitely not the norm here.

Great job! DD really likes the beam mount. She has been able to get into the handstand and then didn't know what to do with it after that!
