Sometimes shirts give you something to grab when spotting but typically singlets or no tops. Shorts with no pockets can be fine for events though pommel pants preferred on horse.
Yes they do also need pants for pommel

It's not a big deal for circle work but it makes single leg work so much more comfortable.

skschlag................. if only grips could talk

sce.......................... please hang on to that shoe. It just may belong to my 14yo son who could lose the socks without ever taking his shoes off. I do have to credit him for reducing his potential for losing them by keeping them on for days in a row:eek:..... or is that the 11yo?

skschlag, again?....... 21 one socks! That's not just a record, it's also a way for your ds to find his cubby should he ever be blinded by chalk dust....... even with a stuffy nose!!!

txgymfan................ There's no place like home..... unless you have a car with an "ambience" graced by five pair of gently scented shoes.:D

My son wears regular basketball style shorts and usually shirtless for practice. A senior on the team just gave DS several of his old shorts and all the pockets are sown shut. Opps - my son's shorts all have pockets.

My son is going to a couple camps this year which require pommel pants and compression shirts. I bet they will want the gymnastics style short too. I will need to look into that.
