Are the toe-on and clear hip variants of the tkachev necessarily harder/easier than from Giant? Do u have certain gymnasts who are more suited for one variant versus another? Should you have s regular tkachev before training 1 of the other variants?

dd says it is all about which skill can get you more power and which you feel more comfortable doing leading into the release. dd was training a hindorff for a while (free hip) but switched to a Ray (toe on) because she feels more comfortable with it. No, she did not have a giant entry first before training these.
