Ok, so lately a few of my girls have taken to bleaching their hair -- to the point where it turns gray/white. I have two teenage girls at my gym with visible gray streaks in their hair.
Is this the latest look among girls that age, or are my girls just weird?
My daughter has so much hair, thick blonde and down to her bottom. Yes, we keep cutting it and it just keeps growing. It's like Barbie hair she tells me. She always has these little hairs at the front of her hairline that keep growing in. She stops in the middle of her bar routine to brush...
I'm hoping some of the parents on here might have directions on how to make some of the cute, fluffy scrunchies to wear at competitions? I used to watch a parent at dd's last gym make them, but I've never paid attention to "how" she made them. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but any directions...
Help. My daughter has just joined team and veteran mom's were telling me how picky the coach is about "meet hair." First what is "meet hair," and second can you have bangs and still have meet hair? If not what do you do with bangs? Thanks.
Hi,
Does anyone know any easy tight hair styles that I could do for my competition, we were going to do braids but we dont have enough time to learn how to do braids as it is this weekend. Any suggestions would help alot!!
Thanks :)
My DD had her state meet last weekend and all in all it was a very good meet (she got 3 medals including a second place finish). I was a little upset when I learned at the next practice her coaches were mad because they thought her hair was messy for the meet. They said that judges would score...
Well i am having difficulties figuring out how to make my hair stay for gymnastics training, for competition it's okay because i use hairspray and gel, but i dont like having it all in my hair because it gives me a headache. How can i do my hair, any suggestions.
I have thick hair just past my...

I prefer to have there hair up since well hair down to me just doesnt fit with a leo.

any ideas? there pics are tomorow morning!
I have a competition on Saturday which (of course) my hair needs to be back for. I have quite long, thick hair but it's usually okay in a ponytail with hairspray and lots of bobbles. But my floor routine has changed and I know have a roundoff backward roll in it and it pushes the bobble down...
My oldest DD has pictures tomorrow at the gym, and an in-house meet next month. I have no idea how to do her hair. Most of the girls in her class have very long hair, so they have lots of options. My DD has a bob that is stacked in the back, and tapers to chin-length in the front.
For her...
Hi. I'm Ellie, 13 years old, and a level 5 gymnast in WA.
I've been wondering how to do my hair- it's about chin-length. In level 4, and the first level 5 meets I did a pony or pigtails, or later on, buns. That's apparently a deduction around here now, because ponytails are "distracting" to the...
My dd has crazy hair day tomorrow at camp. She wants to do something totally crazy but I have no clue where to start. I'm probably going to go out and look for some cool hair clips or bands or something. Any ideas? Any pictures you'd like to share?? I know we've talked about...
I am looking into making bows for the kids hair for competition so they look more alike.
Anyhow do your kids have bows for there hair etc? can I see a pic that way I can think of ideas to get me started (thinking I should get started so they have them in time and also so I have time to play...
When your team goes to meets, do they have a "team style" that everyone goes with, or is it everyone for themselves. Is there something they put in their hair, or do they just have a scrunchie that matches the leo?
I have thoughts about this and our gym, but will get feedback before I share...
Between dance and gymnastics with DD I have plenty of time to sit and people watch. Honestly, parent watch. Lately one of the things that has been happening TONS is random ouch sillyness to get out of anything a kid doesn't like. Like splits, or whatever said child just doesn't feel like...
