My DD has bad her back hip circle for quite a while, but just lately has started "overshooting" it (piking at the end), and then falling off the bar. Any tips to help her overcome that issue? thanks!

Cast a little smaller until she learns to control the speed and power.

My DD was having the same issue with speed and power, because she started doing quite a big cast before her BHC. She also had to learn to be stronger in her arms, wrists, and in fact her whole core when she came around, to stop the overshoot. She still occasionally overshoots the BHC and the mill circle. She's very strong and can get up some serious power if she casts too large.

Cast - come back to the bar - don't throw head back.

At the end push up to thighs/leotard off the bar.
