Hi Coaches,

Is it still called a blind change when the gymnast is turning from a backward giant to an L grip? Is an L grip giant worth the same as a front giant? They seem so much more difficult.

Thanks in advance!

Jules

a blind change in to an "L" grip on 1 hand is a higgins. yes, it is still a blind but called a higgins.

when a blind change goes to a higgins and BOTH hands are in "L" grip it's then called an invert. and some still call it a higgins to invert.

a front giant is a C. a blind change higgins with 1 hand in "L" grip is a C.

a blind change to both hands in "L" grip is a D. an "L" grip front giant is also a D.

this should about cover your question.:)
