Women Coach/judge question re: L6 bars

The cast to HS is a big reason Kipper's gym chose L6 over L5. (we don't compete L5) The L3's start learning the straddle cast by doing spotted drills as soon as they have a solid kip. I think the approach is like @CanAmGymMum described. So, I have never seen anyone compete a straight cast, including strong bar workers. I know the OP's question was "which would score better", but I wonder if the answer really matters? If the goal is progression to a HS, whichever technique will get her there is probably the best to train and compete. I have seen some pretty ugly straddle casts that barely hit above horizontal, so I get the concern. However, if they are training correctly, the form should catch up. I will add that for L6, Kipper only did straddle cast HS on the low bar, she did a straight body (L4/5) cast on the high bar because of fear. However, she "had" the skill and eventually moved it to the high bar as well.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
