At my daughters gym it breaks down like this:
rec classes
Bouncing Babies 1.5yr-3yr 45 min
Tumbling Tots 3yr 45 min
Kinder Kids 4yr-5yr 1hr
If the preschooler seems to be very quickly mastering the skills and getting bored in the rec classes then she can get invited to a more advanced class
invite classes
tinymites 3-4yr 1hr
dynamites 4-5yr 1hr
My daughter started the tots class right when she turned three and took to it like she was born for the sport, if it was up to her we would live at her gym, she goes for 3 classes a week, just once a week for the invite team and then one tumbling tots class and one kinderkid class.
