USTA state meet was held this past weekend and it went pretty darn well! After not being in the gym since Nationals 2010 and going back in November 2011 for only an hour a week, DD brought home some great trophies. DD is state champion on trampoline and high score for all advanced level girls. It was her second meet of the year on double-mini and she placed second (advanced). During warm-ups for tumbling she decided she was going to try and qualify Elite. Not sure what she is thinking sometimes! Warm-ups looked great, but in her competition pass she forgot a skill. Didn't qualify elite, but brought home a second place trophy. Now looking forward to Nationals in June!
