What is the position you put your hands in when you do a back roll to handstand?

Thankyou!:D

level 5 its inward ><
Level 6 its inward popped into regular handstand position point forward

Not sure why though thats just the way i was taught, i believe it has something to do with clear hips

Some people pop their hands forward after they've learned it very well, and I think it's to make it easier when you learn to pirouette and do a blind change out of a back extension. But it would be very hard to do that when first learning it, so stick with facing inward!

From a deductions standpoint I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter, but I learned it inward first (><) with our hands clasped, then once we got them down well we unclasped our hands and we could either keep them inward (><) or like a normal handstand (^^)

"Friendly fingers" As in many of the posts above, it's actually easier to keep your arm straight if you have your fingers pointed inward. If you are using the down hill mat, you can do straight arm rolls to prone by putting your hands just above eye level with your fingers turned in and arms straight. From a stand, sit directly down on your heels (speed is helpful) and roll backwards without even moving your hands. You'll find that your straight arm roll pretty much does itself. From there just work on when to shoot to hand stand by opening the shoulders and shooting your feet to the ceiling.

I guess the short answer is inward :) ><
