Well this time I maybe should have jumped on it. She has inflamation of the growth plates...

I am debating getting these for tumbling. I have one weak wrist due to a surgery i had a couple of years ago. Does anyone use these? Are they any good? Also should I use just one or are they better used as a pair? (I see they are only sold in pairs) Thanks for your input!

I have always struggled with free hips. I have one in my routine on the high bar, which I swing right into from a front uprise. The problem I usually have is that I can't seem to master the proper wrist action involved in the skill. I usually end up with my forearm getting stuck on the bar as I...
Everytime when I come home from gym my wrists hurt and I cant turn them certain ways.I didnt have practice today, all I did was stretch, and they still hurt.I do "warm up" my wrists before I do anything when Im on my hands,so im sure thats not it.The other night before gym they were hurting so...

Hey guys,
I've been practicing my kips for a while now, and I get pretty high up- only I can't seem to stay there, because I don't shift my wrists forward (I might also be slightly arched).
I just can't seem to be able to move them. How do I do it? Do I slightly let go of the bar and move them...
I was doing back walkovers earlier and my wrists were hurting so i was kinda rolling them and kneading them and everything and I did this and I felt a few pops in my wrist and it hurt. I did it a few more times to see if it would keep happening. (I'm not sure why I decided to keep doing it if it...

My dd's team recently ordered grips. I opted not to get in on it - didn't order grips for her. BUT
dd is regularly getting bar burn on her wrists and occasionally even getting rips on her wrists (below her hands)...I know it's completely normal for hands to...
My left wrist hurts when I do planching things.
When I bend my left wrist down, I see a big bump on it, its been like that for a long time, I think it's probably a ganglion cyst.
I'm going to go to the docters soon and see what they say.
Should I still be doing things that put alot of stress on...
My daughter uses the Pixie Velcro Grips, she is 9 years old and a level 7 this year. She just started using her grips over the summer. I had gotter her the Ten-0 grips but they were too long. She measures a 5.5" so the pixies worked better.
She says they slip around her wrists and she is...
DD is 7 and doing prep op at the rookie level which is equiv to level 4. She jammed her right wrist while doing a cartwheel over a mat (some kind of rotation for floor work). I wasn't there and the coaches didn't see it so I don't know what happened. It sounds like the wrist twisted too much...
hi! whenever i do stuff on my wrists, they hurt, especialy after tumbling, an even in handstands. does anyone know of any strengthening skills for my wrists? i wud really appreciate a reply!:D
Well dd got the ok from the ortho to start using her wrist again. She has been doing all the exercising and stretching she is supposed to for it. After a few days of using it again - and she has been going somewhat slow (for her anyway) - she does a few tumbling passes or vaults and then...
Ok - my dd is having major issues with her wrist. We went to the ortho and he said it was tendinitis. She was supposed to be in a wrist splint for a full month (which would be until the 25th) Anyway - of course that was unacceptable to her - summer training is too much fun - and the doctor...
My dd is 7 years old and has been complaining of her wrists hurting when she is practicing. I see her rolling her wrists several times during practice, mainly when she is doing alot of leg cuts on the bar and backhandsprings. Anytime she is putting all of her weight on her hands is usually...
hi
ive recently been able to do a backwalkover down a pie mat, but the last time i did it i think i freaked myself out and i went over to the side instead of straight back.
when i did that i felt something in my shoulder pull really bad and ever since its been bothering me, could i possibly...
I'm actually posting this for a friend at our gym...her DD(level 7 training 8) has been to hand specialist & is in PT. She knows of the 'whole wrist supports leading to weak wrist' theory. But after much evaluation & discussion....wrist supports are what have been recommended for her DD. Now the...
Okay so I have a really good question to ask everyone.
Ehm when I will go back training at gym ( maybe in the summer) I will be taping my wrist.(because its injured if you didn't know.) But the problem is I don't really know how and I don't think my coach knows how either. So any advice would...
