My dd is a level 6 at a YMCA team in NY. Two weeks ago she competed in her second USAG meet and actually placed( so proud) she has been performing a level 7 floor routine all season (1:30 5 a's, 3 b's) recently the decision was made to shorten the routine by 15 seconds to avoid the .1 deduction. In my opinion if that was done for scoring purposes then the whole routine should be paired down to avoid further deductions. Should I let it go or talk to the coaches?
