Well the time is finally coming. Bug will have her first level 4 meet this Sunday. Please wish her luck, and send good thoughts that the snow will stay away on Friday and Sunday while we are driving from WI to MN and back.
Thanks

Juju competed Sunday in the big meet that our gym hosted. I was really worried she would be overwhelmed since it was being held at the local university’s facility and there were 2 full sets of equipment running. Apparently, that was not the case. She did very good and wow what a difference...
Hi there. Can somebody please clarify for me how the level 4 is supposed to land on the mat. I have seen some girls land in a hollow with feet not touching the mat and some landing flat. thanks so much.
Juju has her 2nd level 4 meet this weekend and it is a biggie! Our gym is hosting the meet at a local university and we have 702 gymnasts (men & women) from Level 2-10 coming for the weekend. During the women's sessions there will be 2 full sets of equipment going so I have a feeling it will...
After all these years of watching her sisters, my 6-year-old finally had her first meet yesterday at Level 4. She asked me to share it with the Chalk Bucket!

DD was preteam at her old gym and after her second preteam practice at the new gym she was placed in L4. She was so happy all night she was beaming. I am so happy that she finally got to be in a position that I thought she deserved all along. She starts team practice tonight and I have to...
Hi!
I am new here. My daughter is turning 10 the end of October and is a second year level 4. She has had two meets this season and is doing well. She was actually moved to level 5 earlier this year, but due to a merger with another gym (new location, new coaches, new kids) and starting thyroid...
Hi,
I am wondering what the training schedule is like for your level 4. I am trying to see how different places break it out. We go 3 days for 3 1/2 hours per day. Two weekdays and Sat. We also have TOPs for 3 hours on Saturdays. We just had our first Sat with Level 4 and Tops. I am...
Any coaches out there....My son is 8 and competed L4...He did fine scored in the 50s.
Coach wants him to do L4 again with bonuses....My Son is really adamant about getting to L5....
He has 4 months left and coach said that in order to get to L5, he must get his GKip and muscle up...
We had our first practice for the Fall tonight with my L4 boys, there are 3 new guys I'm working with so there is a total of 8! One of these boys however has Asperger's. He gets very angry with the other team mates, and does not understand if told to do push ups because of talking why he is...
:beam:I had a question about balance beam. My 7 year old L4 is doing an awesome job getting ready for competition to start here in NC, and she's having a great time. Ultimately, that is what is important to me.
However, In the Level 4 beam routine, there is a handstand that she is struggling...
event?
my 2 girls were the only ones not to move up to level 4 (the one thing I keep reminding them was they joined the preteam later then the rest of them, the others started at teh beg of the summer mine didnt start till Dec 1)
but they want to make sure they move up anyhow they keep...
I am so excited for all the new L4's joining, it is so much fun reading the posts about new girls/parents starting out and getting new skills and getting ready to compete for the first time. :) But, anyone here doing another L4 season? My dd was 6 and so will do another L4 season as a 7 yr old...
My DD just started at her new gym at the end of April (she has been in developmental in her old gym since last June). Lots of issues, not learning much there...
Anyway, the summer assignments for the girls came out around Mother's day and they were going to have her do 1 day Level 4 and 2 days...
I am very frustrated. We just returned from our level 4 state meet in Virginia, and it was rather disappointing. Aside from the usual things at a meet that everyone claims, favoritism and what not, we had several gyms that brought 2nd and 3rd year competing gymnasts. These girls took the...
