Our gym is hosting it's annual meet and we're looking into doing our scoring through Beyond the Scores. We have always just used a parent flasher and manually entered the scores into our scoring system (I can't even remember the name of it off the top of my head) after each session. This year...
On the live feed, they just showed three folks in the blazers watching a laptop screen of the last Chinese girl on beam.
Do they not score/judge as it happens?
I can't figure out where to find the scores online anyone have a link?
At least for qualifications the first men's group I have no complaints about the coverage, although would like someone to explain the scoring. No commentary at all watching nbc live streaming.
So we are new to the world of TOPs and my DD just completed her first test! I understand how to calculate her score for abilities (xx/62), only because it is spelled out on the USAG website. But I'm not sure about the skills portion. Each event scores up to 24 points, are those all added...
I very much need to contact My Meet Scores.
I have carefully protected my child's privacy by having her compete under her legal name while she is known in the world by a nickname (call name).
Unfortunately I just noticed that a former gym meet somehow inserted her nickname into her legal name...
I can't seem to find the scores. Trying to follow a few girls! I checked myusagym as someone suggested (using chrome) but it just says loading and nothing comes up!
any suggestions?!
Does anyone know what's up with mymeetscores.com? I've noticed (for Florida anyway) they have not posted any scores from any meet in March. I have personally submitted the link several times for the Tim Rand Invite which is a huge meet. So far nothing and usually they're pretty quick. Thanks!
I have always understood that team scores for meets were calculated by taking the three highest scores in each event, adding them up, and then adding those scores together to get the team score. I was told recently that a large meet our gym attended required the coaches to choose ahead of time...

We are new to competitive gymnastics. My 8 year old DD started competing Xcel Silver this January after several years in pre-team. Now that we have 3 meets under our belt, I'm wondering if and how much you can compare the scores from one meet to another. From what I've read, the advice is to...
Does anyone know of any sort of Xcel spreadsheet or other kind of template used to keep track of scores over the season? I've made my own in the past, but it just seems to take me forever to enter in the scores, and there must be something quicker! (I'm not so great with xcel )
I'm very new to this gymnastics thing, and I know almost nothing about meet scores, etc. If you were choosing a gym and wanted to get an idea of overall where they are at competitively, what scores would you look for? I have found the meet scores for the gyms in our area, but I don't necessarily...
I recently had a meet in xcel gold and I scored my lowest AA score In my life! I think it was close to a 35.00. Anyway I was wondering what AA score you needed to go to state. and if the AA Score that gets you into state can only be reached at the first meet or throughout the season? Thanks!
Did not want to hijack other thread but it got me thinking.. why, if the deductions are nationally identical, do the scores seem so varied state-to-state? Judges must use the same rules (esp in compulsories), so what is the cause? I am in a well-known-as-a-high-scoring state, so wanted to...
I know that it's not all about AA score but I'm trying to gage the likelihood of my DD moving up to level 4. She did not generally score/place well but had one or two decent meets and seems to have made a lot of progress since meet season ended and is starting to get some of the level 4 skills...
Is this common? Now I've seen girls repeat after getting 35's and 36's (still good respectable scores) but I can see the benefit in that. However at a meet we had today, there were girls in our session from another team, and probably about half of their team are repeats from last year, that...
