Back leg turned out (away from me) in good leg splits?

I don't know how my back leg is supposed to be. I have my foot where my heel faces the ceiling but my knee slightly turns out. None of my coaches corrected my splits at all and they corrected other girls so I think I have mine all the way down. I doubt myself though because my back leg knee is slightly facing away from me. How am I supposed to do this? I do it with my back leg on a line and my front leg to the left of the line.

It decreases the stretch on the quadricep of the rear leg. It's easier because you are turning out the leg. Doesn't keep the hips square.
