I thought I was addicted to youtube . . . my husband has been asking "video up yet?" He was there and can watch it on the camera, on TV or on the computer but NO he wants to watch it on youtube!

Corky's second qualifier was last weekend in Oshawa.
Her Sever's has been acting up again so we weren't sure she would be able to compete. She has been going to physio again and has orthotics in her shoes, is wearing her tuli's cheetahs along with something called Fabs. It looks like this...
So this is my first level 9 meet (other than the mock meet) as i was out due to a sprained back from the last one. Because my back still isn't 100 percent, i' haven't done much or lots of things... Anyways, back to the story...
Vault- yurchenko tuck (watered down, only practiced... 3 times)...
So J had her first L3 meet Friday. She had fun and did well. Still pretty sure she doesn't get the whole idea of how the process works but she really had fun competing.
First up was floor, good confidence builder for her since she does well there.

Vault: 9.0 2nd
Bars: 7.6...
We went to a big annual invitational this past weekend, and all the girls did really well. 1st session was level 6. We only have 3 level 6s and one is injured so two were there. One of the girls, Shannon, recently moved to our gym. She came with barely level 6 skills, and isn't really ready...
To think . . . I wasn't going to video tape this meet at all . . .
This was Jess's first home hosted meet. She was really excited, more about hosting then competing. She was all about helping at the other meets and handing out awards etc.
But first, she had to compete.
Up first is beam...
Sorry I don't have the much info, hopefully will get more soon after I talk to Bean. CGM's gymmie had her 2nd provincial qualifier today (level 8 age 10/11) and had some AMAZING results! 2nd on vault, 1st on bars beam and floor, and first overall!!! Congratulations Bean!
Well, for the first time ever, my kiki was very sick going into a meet. She had been throwing up 24 hours leading up to her session. I had reservation about her competing, but she insisted. She was so weak that she had her lowest scores all season BUT for the first time EVER she hit both kips...
DD has her 2nd L7 meet last weekend. After some gym drama during the week I did not have many expectations.
Started on Vault. DD is a solid 8.6 vaulter. Sometimes I think it looked like a good vault, sometimes I think it looks like a bad vault .... and they always get 8.6, so what do I...
I know that I don't post here often but I thought that I would share my Dd's first L7 meet results.
This was a huge out of state meet and really didn't know what to expect.
1st up was bars... She did a beautiful routine but her cast HS's were low. Great giants and nice layout dismount...
Dd competed this past Sunday. Definitely not her best meet, but we had still had fun! We drove down on Saturday and got there just in time to go meet up with her teammates and we went out to dinner. The girls had a great time and just enjoyed hanging, as did us parents.
Report time on...
Alex had what I think is her last Level 4 meet on Sunday. She is supposed to compete in Kansas City this coming weekend but she has hurt her foot and is in a boot at the moment.:( We are not sure what she did but on Saturday evening she was complaining about the top of her right foot. I...
Daughter had a meet this past weekend. The girls had alot of fun both the level 5 and 6 competed together. This is the group of girls that practice together there were 6 of them (3-5, 3-6). It was interesting because they went as a group through all the rotations together. Daughter improved...
DD competed in her first official Level 9 meet of the season last weekend.

Well, my little sassy girl had her second meet of the season...it was not pretty. First off was bars, which she got and 8.35 (not so bad, but she could have done better and she knew it) then she went to beam. The whole team had a very contagious case of the dropsies, and every single girl fell...
OK, going to start off by saying, I want to go back to the beach, not thrilled that I had to clear a foot of snow off the van once we got to the airport.
This ended up being Bug's first level 5 meet, inititally the girls were to do level 4, but once we found out that there was level 4, 5, 6...
