From watching the Women's Qualifications again last night, it looked like John Geddert wasn't on the floor after the bar rotation. Did something happen? Is he not the USA Women's Olympic team coach?
Has anyone ever been on a Gymnova floor?...are they really springy! We have had 2 US gymnasts fly out of bounds so far.
EDIT: ...and Jo goes out of bounds too.
EDIT: Ali Raisman was definitely holding back to stay in bounds...nice control.
Ugh, I need another new floor routine.
There are 4 different music options I like, but I'm still open to listen to more.
Has anyone used energym (I think I spelled that wrong)? How much money is it? And, is it easy to use, legal, and all that other stuff? Also, does it have some good choices? I...
My daughter gets a new floor routine this year and has been listening to floor music. Because of her age/size, her last routine was set to "Itty Bitty Pretty One" which if you aren't familiar with it, is kind of 50s pop, very cutesy and bubbly.
So she was wanting to try something very...
I am looking for new floor music, and i really need some help. I've checked out youtube about a million times with no results. My coach told me that I have to find new music fast or else I have to use my old music, which I really dont like. Does anyone know where I can look at floor music? It's...
I have a couple pieces picked out already, but I need a couple more.
The girls are 7-9 years old and we are going for something cute :) They will be competing Provincial 1, comparable to Level 4 USAG.
Ideas? Thanks for the help!
My older dd's coaches have told the girls what they expect their tumbling passes to be this year for Level 9 floor and it seems to me that there is quite a difference in what can be done vs. what must be done. My dd's passes are supposed to be double back, back 3/2 twist to front layout, and...
oWell, the overused floor music got me thinking, what kind of floor music do you like and what don't you
Personally, I really don't like it when people turn top 100 songs into floor music because 99% of the time it sounds empty and personally if i was a judge and saw a routine to 'whistle' by...
Okay, so I thought this might be fun, and I didn't see an old thread on it... so-
Parents, coaches, gymnasts, spectators...what optional floor music do you think is the most overused of the past season...and what do you think will be the most overused THIS season??
Gymnasts...have you ever...
I just started back up in gymnastics after quitting for 7 years. My gym instructors are trying to teach me the level 6 floor routine, but I am a slow learner with the dancy stuff. Does anyone know where I can find a video of somebody teaching it slowly? I am talking about this routine...
Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys know any cool floor skills (not like tumbling or dance skills.) I know there's like elbow stands, shoulder rolls, etc. Do you guys know any cool skills like that? If you have a video, feel free to add that. (:
Hi, im getting a new floor routine made soon and i really like the explosive (bond) music. i know it is really popular, but is it used too much? would it make the judges less enthusiadtic about my routine? im in high school gymnastics. also, is there any website they sell it on where it is a bit...
Hi, im planning on getting a new routine made, and i am actually meeting with someone about it soon. ive been searching and searching and searching for some floor music that i love! but the problem is, im super picky! I am a sophomore for a high school gymnastics team. I have been...
I am going to be competing in excel, and I have started looking for floor music. How long can it be? I will be in silver or gold, I am not sure which yet, but most likely gold. I have found one that I really like, but it is 1:30. Is that okay, or do I have to cut it? I can ask the coach, but it...
okay, my floor has the potential to be awesome or so much coach tells me anyway but my big problem is my fitness. By the time I get to my second (and final) tumble pass I am exhausted and if it was anything remotely harder I probably would be unsuccessful despite being able to do harder skills...
Hello,
My daughter is starting her second year at a new gym. She is a second year level 9. She has had 3 tumbling passes since level 7(routines given by her old coach). She is getting a new floor routine this year and her new coach wants to give all of the girls only 2 tumbling passes. He says...
I compete in TNT. My coach said that I could do F,V,B,B ; and do TNT. But one thing is holding me back. Injurys. Since I am starting late, age twelve. I am nervous that if I do get hurt, that I won't be able to get a scholarship to college. I want to actually do something with gymnastics. Go...
