    Parents Level 9 State meet result and bar vid

    My dd is having a pretty good Region 8 - Level 8 season. She may or may not qualify for Level 8 regionals this weekend. It will be close. My question is should a gymnast who does not qualify for Level 8 regionals, move to level 9 the next season. I kinda of feel that qualifying to regionals...

    in levels 9 and 10, the start value of routines isn't necessarily 10, correct? but can the routines be out of 10.00 if you add enough difficulty to the routine? :) just wondering. thankss

    Level 9 Startvalue

    I was wondering the startvalue my daughter would have with these tumbling passes on floor. FHS Fronfull Fronttuck,BHS 1 1/2 punch front and FHS Frontwhip Frontpike. Dance acro will probably be Sideswitchleap Popa and roundoff wolfjump 1 1/2 turn and straddled Shoshunova (spelling?)

    Level 9 Bars

    Does anyone know if there is a compositional deduction at level 9 for not having front giants? Our girls(region 2) scored on average 9.1 (at westerns)with beautiful routines. The girls that had front giants seemed to score 2 or 3 tenths higher for equally executed routines. Thanks!

    Hammy or anyone else, Is a double layout full and a double back tuck (or) pike the same value? Beam bhs/blo how much more that a bhs bhs? Floor, FHSP FLO(full) or double? Thanks Again!

    Hammy will probably know these questions....is a bh/bt the same value as a bh/blo? What about a double twist dismount? Is a 1 1/2 the same value? She can do her side ariel and working the front. Are they the same value? Thanks!
